The Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training is beginning a program in Islamabad to construct “High-Impact IT Training Institutes” in conjunction with numerous universities, the National Vocational and Technical Commission (NAVTCC), and 16 federal degree colleges.
According to official sources, these institutes would provide intense six-month training programs in data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain within the federal capital’s degree colleges.
Graduates and undergraduates will be able to apply for training and certification at participating schools, which include the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), COMSATS, and the National Skills University (NSU).

Each federal degree institution will allocate space and gear for 200 to 300 students, emphasizing the scope of the effort.
The fundamental goal of these training programs is to improve employability in the rapidly changing IT field. As the financing agency, NAVTCC assures financial assistance for the proper execution of these programs, with the institutions slated to open soon.
This project is intended to bridge the gap between academia and industry by developing highly competent workers capable of making substantial contributions to the IT environment.
