2,000 Laptops Distributed Among University Students under PM Laptop Scheme

Gomal University hosted a ceremony to distribute laptops as part of the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme.

Commissioner Zaheer ul Islam Khattak of the Dera Ismail Khan Division was the chief guest of honor at Tuesday’s ceremony.

Key participants in the event included the Registrar of Gomal University, deans of several departments, administrative officers, and project directors for the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, Mohsin Ali Raziq and Gohar Ali Khan.

The ceremony was chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr. Shakibullah.

The goal of this program was to give laptops to about 2080 Gomal University students who were chosen on the basis of their merit by the university’s scholarship section.

In order to support the growth and prosperity of the nation, the Commissioner underlined how crucial it is for students to use these computers to further their education and research.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Shakibullah thanked the federal government, mentioning in particular the Federal Minister for Education and HEC Islamabad for their assistance in supplying computers to Gomal University students.

This program shows the government’s dedication to advancing research and education in the area while also providing the recipients with useful tools.
