New Admission Policy Medical and Dental Colleges
The Punjab government has changed the admission policy in the region’s public area medical and dental Colleges.
As per the new admission policy, Hafiz-e-Quran candidates will at this point not be awarded an additional 20 marks in the merit computation during the approaching admission time frame.
Concerning this decision, the Punjab Health Division expressed that the marks have been abrogated as per the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council’s choice.
It ought to be reviewed that in April, a six-member bench of the High Court of Pakistan had discarded a suo motu case in this regard.
The bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan was told by the PDMC’s legal advisor, Afnan Kundi, that the choice to grant an additional 20 marks to the candidates had proactively been removed.
In the wake of hearing the arguments, Justice Ijazul Ahsan expressed that there was no continuous issue, so he chose to close the suo moto case.
