Prospective candidates can begin applying on October 30, with the all-important admissions test for both the Ph.D. and MPhil programs scheduled for November 19.

The admissions process, including interviews, is expected to be completed by December 31, 2024, with classes beginning on January 1, 2024.

The conference also looked over the work of 270 MPhil and 75 Ph.D. students.

The group also unanimously agreed that BS degree programs at UHS and related schools will move to a semester-based structure beginning with the current academic year.

In addition, the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree program will transition from an annual to a semester basis.

The committee also paid respect to the late Prof Dr. Tania Shakuri, Head of the Department of Physiology, expressing heartfelt condolences on her passing.

Fatiha was chanted for the departed on this day.

To celebrate her continuing influence, the university’s conference room was overwhelmingly named after her.

The creation of a Career Counseling and Placement Center was also approved. The University’s Alumni Association will oversee the operation of this center.
