Saudi Arabia Visa Protector Fees in Pakistan December Update

It is a legal necessity to preserve your work permits for Saudi Arabia from the relevant department in Pakistan by paying a fee and providing the necessary paperwork.

The visa protector offers various advantages to visa holders, including complete legal protection and full help from Pak-mission in work.

Legal aid can be obtained via the Pakistan embassy in Saudi Arabia’s Community Welfare Attached. It also offers life insurance coverage of up to Rs1 million.

Saudi Arabia Work Visa Protector Fee in Pakistan

Each emigrant must deposit Rs2,500 as an insurance premium to cover an Rs1,000,000 life risk. The insurance policy is good for 5 years.

Furthermore, each candidate must pay Rs2,000 as part of the OPF welfare fund (Overseas Pakistanis Foundation) charge, 2,500 as part of the registration price, and 200 as part of the OEC fee. 

The entire cost of obtaining work visa protection is Rs7,200. The following is a breakdown of the Saudi work 

Visa protection charge in Pakistan as of December 2023:

  • Rs2,500 for life insurance 
  • OPF Rs2,000
  • Rs2,500 Registration Fee
  • The fee for OEC is Rs 200
  • The total fee is Rs. 7200.

Procedure

1: In the event of Direct Employment, the intending emigrant provides the following papers for registration to the appropriate division for processing/verification.

Visa (as required by the host nation)

A valid passport

Valid National Identity Card (computerized) (photocopy is also acceptable)

A fully signed employment contract or agreement signed by the employer, or an undertaking approved by the Director General of the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment

Registration Fee Receipt

Payment of the Welfare Fund Emigration Promotion Fee

State Life Insurance Corporation certificate of insurance (original and duplicate copy)

In the case of ex-servicemen/government employees! A copy of the NOC is required for nurses (from relevant federal! and provincial health agencies).

Verification of Police Character Certificate from the relevant DPO Political Agent about the intended emigrant (for certain countries only)

Medical Fitness Report (from certain nations’ recognized medical facilities).

2: Following the verification of papers, the intending emigrant is directed to the Briefing Hall for orientation/briefing. Simultaneously, the record is recorded, a registration number is assigned, a Protector Sticker is applied to the passport, and the whole case is transmitted to the Protector of Emigrant.

3: The Protector of the Emigrant officer signs (embosses) the passport and sends it to the courier.

4: An O&B official educates the potential emigrant on all relevant elements such as health, legal rights, and so on, and aids him in obtaining his passport and documentation.
