The Government of Pakistan has adopted a simpler structure of e-passport fees in Pakistan, beginning in January 2024, to provide more ease to people.
Because e-passports are at the forefront of technological innovations, this cost increase accords with the government’s objective to modernize and improve the whole passport issue process.
The government’s proposal to harmonize e-passport costs is a step toward making the passport issue system more user-friendly and efficient.
Citizens are urged to use the new cost structure, which not only streamlines the process but also adds to a more smooth travel experience.
As we begin the new year, this action underscores the government’s commitment to making getting an e-passport a simple and accessible procedure for all Pakistanis.
