In its most recent rankings, the UK-based citizenship and residency advice business Henley & Partners has once again placed the Pakistani passport among the worst in the world.
Over the previous five years, the nation’s standing has not improved. The Pakistani passport is ranked as the fourth worst in the world by the most current Henley Passport Index.
Pakistan’s passport ranks 101st out of 104 on the Henley Passport Index, with a score of 34, according to the company’s Global Mobility Report 2024. That indicates that only 34 of the 227 locations included in the index are accessible to holders of Pakistani passports without a need for one.
The rating, which takes into account the number of countries and territories that passport holders can enter without a previous visa, assesses around 199 passports based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Pakistan has scored 29, 29, and 28, respectively, placing it barely above war-torn Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. The ten weakest passports in the world are as follows:

However, India has remained at position 80 from the previous year. Passengers with an Indian passport can enter 62 countries without a visa.
France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain are the top-ranked countries in the world in terms of passport power.
