Google has established a dedicated website to ease access to internet information on political parties, their candidates, and other vital election-related issues ahead of the forthcoming general elections on February 8, 2024.
Named “Google Trends Pakistan General Election,” this page is intended to help both the media and the general people keep informed and involved during the election process.
The website provides insights into issues, subjects, and interests associated with participating political parties and includes a wide range of data, including the most popular election-related topics in various parts of the country. This includes topics such as the economy, taxation, and wages.

Google Trends Patch has enabled all charts embeddable on external websites, allowing for real-time changes.
It is critical to note that the Google Trends website launched in Pakistan is neither a poll unique to the general elections nor an indicator of voting patterns. Instead, the page tracks the local population’s interests and searches on certain topics over time.
Recent Google Trends data shows a significant disparity in internet search interest across Pakistani political parties in the 14 days preceding the February 8, 2024, general elections.
According to the trending page, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has emerged as the most searched party, accounting for an amazing 78% of the search interest.
