Lahore Development Authority makes sure that citizens can check illegal housing societies in Lahore online
For new planned development in the Punjab Capital city of Lahore, LDA (Lahore Development Authority) is responsible.
The authority is also responsible for regulating and issuing permits for private housing projects, new construction, and new development of the city.
To fulfill the requirement, all the housing societies that are run by private companies are needed to get registered with LDA.
To save the hard-earned money citizens, LDA takes strict actions against societies that are built illegally.
LDA is making a list of those illegal societies and updating it from time to time. People can also check the list online through the authorities’ official website.

- On the website, there will be an option related to a list of illegal societies.
- Click on that option. Or you can directly land on that page using this link, https://lda.gop.pk/private_schemes/illegal_schemes.php.
- After landing on the page of illegal societies, just enter the name of society to get its information.
- Then, the latest status of that society will be shown there.
