On Monday, GCWUF, the Government College Women University Faisalabad, organized a protest demonstration against the killing of defenseless Palestinians in Gaza.
Following the protest rally, which was headed by GCWUF Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, there was a lecture on the topic of “Violation of Human Rights and Genocide in Palestine and Role of Muslims,” as well as a poster presentation and film documentary display.
Posters on the subject were shown by Political Science Department students. They created handcrafted and digital posters that depicted Israeli aggression and acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Former MNA Dr. Samia Raheel Qazi claimed that Muslims might attain their aims via determinism at the seminar on the killing of Muslims in Palestine and the responsibility of the Muslim Ummah. “Eternal life has been provided for the Palestine martyrs.
Muslims nowadays need to be unwavering and determined in order to protect themselves,” she continued. Professor Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli praised the attendees for drawing attention to the precarious situation in Palestine and pleaded with the world community to assist in finding a quick solution.
A resolution opposing Israel and supporting Palestine was brought to the house by Dr. Mudasser, Chairman of Riffah University Faisalabad, and it was unanimously approved.
Many students and faculty members attended the seminar and demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian people, which was organized by Dr. Ghulam Mustafa, Chairman of the Department of International Relations at Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF); Mr. Asif A. Malik, Registrar; Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Coordinator, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Chairperson, Department of Mathematics; Dr. Asma Aziz, Director Students’ Affairs (DSA); Incharges of the Islamic Studies, Political Science, and Applied Psychology departments; Ms. Amara Javed, Additional Director, Press Media & Publication, GCWUF).
