On November 2, 2023, the Punjab Finance Department issued a critical announcement on the region’s Schedule of Wage Rate 2023.
This statement is critical for workers and the labor force in numerous industries throughout Punjab.
The letter summarizes the current wage rates, providing companies and employees with important information and instructions.
With this announcement, the government hopes to ensure equitable remuneration and wage uniformity while reflecting the present economic situation.

The Schedule of Wage Rates 2023 is projected to affect and regulate compensation systems throughout the province, encouraging a more equal and sustainable working environment.
On the decree of the government of Punjab, the finance department authorizes the salary rate schedule for 2023, which will take effect on July 1, 2023.
The whole salary rate plan for 2022 Stand Sir has been replaced. Apartment of burned employees should be produced in accordance with the manner outlined in their preamble of the salary rate schedule 2023.

The ICT has already published a notification of the workers’ monthly and daily salary rates for 2023. The salary rate schedule for 2023 has been authorized for the following employee cadres.
- Civil Trades
- Mechanical Trades
- Electrical trades
The rates for all of these categories are listed on a monthly basis.
