The government of Pakistan is pleased to announce the Ramzan relief package for this year which is worth 7.49 billion. This special package will be available in utility stores all over the country from 4th March.
This step is very important for the needy people and to reduce inflation during the holy month of Ramzan.
The masses, who are struggling with inflation, have taken a strong interest in this development. This initiative will provide much-needed relief to them throughout the holy month.
According to the utility store officials, the main objective of this relief is to ease the financial burden on the consumers in Ramzan. So that they can also enjoy this holy month and feel free from their tensions.

The discount will be given to 19 specific items which are used daily and are essential. These basic items include sugar, ghee, flour rice, cooking oil, pulses, basen, date, spices, milk, and beverages.
Moreover, it has been clarified by the officials that those who enrolled in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) can only eligible to qualify for the targeted subsidy. In addition to the targeted subsidy designed for BISP recipients, special pricing on necessities for the broader public will be offered.
Furthermore, this discount will be applicable until Chand Rat and consumers can benefit from this.
