Payment Issue of Second-Shift Teachers Salaries
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa education department is facing many difficulties in maintaining its financial status as it has defaulted on the payment issue of the second-shift teachers salaries for the past few months.
Keeping this in mind provincial government issued funds to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department to solve the issue of second-shift teachers’ salaries.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department on Thursday delivered 331.330 million rupees in assets for the salaries of second-shift teachers and other staff in the 25 districts of the region.

The education department has mentioned the grant of assets to the provincial government as, attributable to the default of salaries for the past few months, large numbers of the second-shift schools have been shut across the KP region.
25 districts, including Haripur, Abbottabad, Battagram, Mansehra, Torghar, Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Sawabi, Shangla, Smack, Tank, Bannu, Boneer, Charsadda, Lower Chitral, Upper Chitral, Dir Lower, Dir Upper, D.I.Khan, Hangu, Karak, Kohat, Laki Marwat, and Malakand were conceded an amount of 331.330 million rupees for the fiscal year 2022-23.

As per the breakdown of the Rs. 52.539 million got for the male and female staff of 5 districts of Hazara division, for the Abbottabad locale, 13.572 million rupees have been delivered, 12.138 million have been moved for male staff members, and 1.434 million rupees for females.
Likewise, for the Battagram locale, an amount of 5.492 has been dispensed, 225 million rupees for males and 5.239 million rupees for females, 3.09 million rupees have been paid for region Haripur where 2.589 million rupees.
