It has been a popular destination for tourists, and the government has chosen to expand its reach by granting inhabitants of six countries visa-free admission.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially announced the news that Turkey Announces Visa-Free Entry published in the Turkish Official Gazette. It takes effect right away.
The following nationals are not required to get a visa to enter Turkey:
- Bahrain
- Canada
- Oman
- Saudi Arabia
- UAE
- United States
Citizens of these countries no longer need to obtain a visa in advance of their trip to enter Turkey thanks to the visa-free policy. They are permitted to remain in the nation for a maximum of 90 days thanks to this exemption.
