In light of global oil price trends, Petrol price in Pakistan increased from the 16th of April.
According to a notification issued by the finance ministry, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.53 per liter to Rs. 293.94, while the price of high-speed diesel has seen an increase of Rs. 8.14 per liter to Rs. 290.38.
The upward prediction is predicated on global HSD, gasoline, and crude oil prices, which experienced significant increases during the first week of April. Remarkably, for the past two weeks, the value of the Pakistani rupee has stayed steady at 278–279.

The Finance Minister announced the prices after consultation with the Prime Minister. The prices of petroleum products will apply from April 16.
