Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi who is the caretaker chief minister of Punjab, has presented the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS) 2.0, which provides better traffic services and grants Punjabi people to register online for learner licenses.
Due to the recent crackdown on drivers without licenses, it has become necessary to have a driving license.

Interim Chief Minister Naqvi declared, “We’ve gone computerized to facilitate the most common way of getting a learner’s license!” on Twitter. The Punjabi Khidmat Markaz and 737 police headquarters offer assistance, and you may now apply online through the Police application.

How to Apply Online For a Learner Driving License
- Create an account on the DLIMS licensing website.
- Fill out the application form.
- Upload documents.
- Generate payment slip ID and pay through ATM, online banking, or mobile banking channels.
Documents Required for Online Application
- Candidate or Applicant’s picture.
- Scanned copy/picture of original CNIC’s front and back.
- A medical certificate signed by a government doctor in case age is above 50 years.

Following the public authority’s severe measures against underage drivers and those operating vehicles without a substantial driving permit, Punjab has seen a spike in the number of applications for driving licenses.
