Authorities in Punjab have promised harsh penalties for people who do not have a driver’s license, and tens of thousands have visited license centers to register for a learner permit.
As residents faced long lines at police stations and license offices, Punjab temporary chief minister Mohsin Naqvi addressed their concerns, making fresh efforts to shorten the time-consuming procedure in case of learner driving license DLIMS Punjab.

CM visited Police Khidmat and Tahaffuz Markaz Liberty amid a large flood of applicants, and he provided fresh instructions aimed at shortening the re-driving test process to a maximum of two weeks.
He replied to people’s complaints regarding license renewal delays by immediately ordering efforts to remedy these difficulties as soon as possible.
Following a large throng at the door of Police Khidmat and Tahaffuz Markaz Liberty, the chief minister made measures that allow applicants to arrange appointments ahead of time while visiting the service center.
He also discussed plans for the upcoming release of license and learner application installs on both Android and iPhone devices.
Naqvi underlined the caretaker government’s vow to simplify the process, promising citizens that license applications will be completed effortlessly through the site soon.
In addition, he authorized the installation of shadows and other conveniences for those waiting outside the Driver’s Licence Office Traffic Police at Liberty Market.
The Punjab IGP, CCPO, and other top officials stressed the government’s collaborative approach to improving public services.
