Generative AI and ChatGPT-like chatbots are becoming popular among almost all of the major smartphone manufacturers.
Gauss AI for Galaxy phones was recently launched by Samsung, and now Oppo has stated that Oppo AndesGPT will launch next month alongside the flagship Find X7 series.
Like Google’s recently released Gemini AI model, Oppo AndesGPT has three distinct layers and seven billion parameters.

AndesGPT will include three AI models: Titan, Turbo, and Tiny, each with ever greater capabilities. AndesGPT Tiny has seven billion parameters; Turbo and Titan have seventy billion and eighty billion, respectively.
Oppo claims that the Tiny model is effective and lightweight, making it simple to use on consumer electronics like smartphones.
In addition, the Turbo version offers quick reactions and a well-rounded experience for “multiple scenarios.” Finally, the Titan model is designed for complicated tasks requiring profound reasoning.
AndesGPT can accept a variety of input formats, including text, speech, photos, documents, and more, just like competing AI chatbots.
Oppo claims that their chatbot outperforms competitors in response speeds and can produce abstracts with up to 14,000 words. Andes can reach up to 2.9 seconds, according to Oppo—2.5 times faster than the industry average.
AndesGPT will be able to handle issues like first-word reasoning, which is a common occurrence among AI models, with characteristics like Swapped Attention.
The Find X7, Oppo’s upcoming flagship phone, won’t include every single one of these features. It will probably only be able to use AI to create personalized backgrounds, however, it will still be able to create emails, summarize notes, and do other things.
However, it remains unclear whether AndesGPT will be available in the international versions of the Oppo Find X7 phones too. Since OnePlus is a sister company to Oppo that often shares its resources with the other, we expect to see a similar chatbot on OnePlus phones too.
