Here is great news for overseas Pakistanis who want to renew their driver’s license. Pakistan’s Embassy in Riyadh is providing (overseas Pakistanis from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) facilities for the renewal of driving licenses.
The announcement was made on the social media platform Twitter in which it was stated that overseas Pakistanis who have driving licenses issued from KPK can now avail of this facility.

They can benefit from this facility by visiting the embassy.
Required Documents:
Eligible candidates can apply for the renewal of their driving license by simple procedure. Some important documents are required to submit to the embassy.
The list of the required documents is as follows:
- Passport copy
- CNIC copy
- Expired driving license but expiry date should not exceed three years
- Passport size Photograph
- Iqama copy
- Email or contact number of the applicant
- Latest medical certificate (should be attested by medical practitioner and Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
When the applicant submits their all documents to the embassy the embassy will start the processing of documents. The documents will be sent to the KPK Traffic Police electronically.
After verification of documents from the police, the driver’s license will be renewed and will handed over to the applicant after submission of government dues.
The embassy stated in a note that it would impose the appropriate cost for the attestation of the aforementioned documents.
